I remember being 7 years old
Living in New York
Jamestown.
An era of my life I felt different
childhood
curious, alive, full of wonder.
I touched the grass, I dug the dirt
I tried to look under the girls skirts
Lonely, depressing, dead town.
Jamestown is a dying town.
When I was a child it was dying
but now it is dead.
The hospital on the hill closed.
The downtown has no buisnesses.
The homes fall apart
Post armageddon.
If the world died, Jamestown would be it's face.
I love you. I'm sorry life had to push you down
I understand you. I'm sorry no one cares.
I'll mourn you. Because there's nothing I can do.
Goodbye jamestown. Goodbye Childhood.
